Upon the occurrence of the accident, the Insured must undertake everything in his power in order to reduce the incurred costs to a reasonable extent.
- If the estimated costs of medical services are less than 200 Eur, the Insured is not obliged to report the case to the assistance company. In that case, he can pay the medical expenses himself and reimburse the expenses from the WSO upon return to the country of residence.
- If the costs of medical services exceed the amount of 200 Eur, it is necessary to report the case to the assistance company as determined by the instructions of the Insurer located on the back of the insurance policy, and at the latest before the payment of the incurred costs prior to leaving the medical institution.
- In case the Insured bears the costs of treatment himself, the request for reimbursement must be submitted to the Insurer no later than 30 days from the return to the country of residence or in the case of transportation of remains, 30 days after the death of the Insured.
